Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On March 13, at approximately 2:16 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 300 block of West 7th Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 31-year-old Wallace Sanchez, who was taken into custody without incident. Sanchez was found to be in possession of .53 grams of crack cocaine, and 1.17 grams of heroin.
Sanchez has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $10,000 cash-only bail.
