Statewide Tornado Drill Happening Today at 1:00 PM 
At 1:00 PM today, Michigan will conduct its Statewide Tornado Drill as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week. This is a great opportunity to practice your safety plan and make sure you and your family are ready for severe weather.
✅ Know where to go: In a tornado, move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor, away from windows.
✅ Have a plan: Discuss where to take shelter at home, work, and school.
✅ Stay informed: Make sure you can receive emergency alerts through weather apps, NOAA Weather Radio, or local broadcasts.
