1. Person Shot (1338) 2800 Block of West March Lane, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the area on multiple reports of two subjects shooting at each other. When they arrived, they located numerous vehicles and a local business struck by gunfire. Officers canvassed the area and located both suspect vehicles. Officers took both suspects into custody and recovered two firearms. One sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital to treat his non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: John Alton Taylor, 19, for weapon violations and assault with a deadly weapon. Jermaine Thornton, 18, for attempted homicide and weapon violations.
