INCIDENT: PC 459 - Burglary, H&S 11377(a) - Possesion of a Controlled Substance, PC 498 - Theft of Utilities
LOCATION: 72000 Block of Winters Road, Unicorporated area of Morongo Basin
SUSPECT(S): Veronica Wade, 54-year-old, Resident of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, March 17, 2025, the victim reported his vacant property, located in the 72000 block of Winters Road, had unathorized electrical service in someone else's name. Deputies Nicholas Hospodar and Melissa Enciso from the Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station responded to investigate.
Upon arriving at the residence, Hospodar and Enciso noticed the home had been burglarized and was occupied by Virginia Wade. Wade was found to have an outstanding warrant for PC 602.5(a) - Trespassing. While inside of the residence, deputies observed methamphetamine pipes and suspected methamphetamine in plain view.
Wade was arrested for PC 459 - Burglary, H&S 11377(a) - Possession of a Controlled Substance, and PC 498 - Theft of Utilities. Wade was transported to West Valley Detention Center for booking.
