WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP OFFICE COLLECTING FOOD/CLOTHING/GIFT CARDS FOR 4 FAMILIES EFFECTED BY THE STONEY CREEK APT FIRE.

Fire at Stoney Creek Apartments Displaces Four Families – Community Support Needed

Washington Township, MI – A devastating fire at Stoney Creek Apartments has displaced eight families as the fire investigation remains ongoing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected, and we are grateful that no lives were lost.

The Washington Township Fire and EMS Department responded heroically, working tirelessly through the night to contain the fire and ensure the safety of residents. Their bravery and dedication to our community do not go unnoticed, and we extend our deepest gratitude for their efforts.

To support the displaced families, Washington Township is organizing a donation drive to provide essential supplies. We are collecting non-perishable food, clothing, blankets, toys, pet food, gift cards, and other necessities at Washington Township Hall, located at 57900 Van Dyke, Washington, MI. Large bins have been placed in the Supervisor’s Office for drop-off donations, as well as, the Samaritan House.

We encourage our residents and local businesses to come together and support these families in their time of need. Your generosity will make a significant difference in helping them rebuild and recover.

For more information, please contact the Supervisor’s Office at (586) 786-0010.

Sincerely,

Sebastian 'Sam' Previti
