VICTIM(S): Jenny Nails & Spa / People of the State of California

SUMMARY: On March 19, 2025, at 4:26 a.m., a Chino Hills deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Chino Hills Parkway and Chino Avenue for vehicle code violations. During the stop, the deputy developed probable cause to believe the license plate attached to the vehicle belonged to a different car. Criminals use this technique to hide the vehicle's true identity to avoid detection during the commission of a crime.

Kandice Belardo, Dennis Jenkins, Severette Cheek, and Auryona Hobson-Beason occupied the car. Jenkins and Cheek are on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS). Jenkins was a wanted person for a violation of his PRCS. Deputies found a loaded firearm inside the vehicle along with property belonging to Jenny Nails & Spa, a local Chino Hills business.

Deputies drove to the business and found it was burglarized. A video surveillance review showed the suspects burglarized the business and were fleeing the crime scene when contacted during the traffic stop. All four suspects were arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center.
