Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with multiple burglary incidents:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with multiple burglary incidents following an investigation.
On March 10, members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1400 block of North Dupont Street, in reference to a burglary incident. On March 11, members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1900 block of West 4th Street, in reference to a burglary incident. These cases were assigned to Detective Thomas Rittenhouse of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Rittenhouse identified 48-year-old Darnell Miller as a suspect, and obtained warrants for his arrest. On March 16, members of the Uniformed Services Division took Miller into custody without incident.
Miller has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree) – Two Counts
- Theft Under $1,500 – Two Counts
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony – Two Counts
