The female victim, 18, was in the listed area when the suspect approached and forcefully took her property. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Unknown Race Male.
2. Violation of a Restraining Order/Resisting Arrest (1949) 300 Block of West Park Street, Civic District
The male victim, 72, was inside his residence when the known suspect entered his backyard in violation of a court order. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, but she fled on foot. Force was required to take the suspect into custody. While detained, the suspect tried to take an officer’s duty weapon but was unsuccessful. ARRESTED: Sherry Stricklin, 48, for violation of a restraining order, attempting to take a firearm from an officer, and resisting arrest.
