Wilmington Police have arrested three men in connection with an armed robbery following an investigation.
On February 4, at approximately 11:41 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1000 block of West 7th Street, in reference to an armed robbery. The case was assigned to Detective Justin Wilkers of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Wilkers identified 20-year-old Dadrique Montaque, a 17-year-old male juvenile, and 23-year-old Jabree Green as suspects, and obtained warrants for their arrest.
On February 25, members of the Uniformed Services Division conducted a vehicle stop and took Montaque into custody without incident. On February 28, police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of South Harrison Street, and took the 17-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident. On March 19, police executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Augustine Court, Middletown, DE, and took Green into custody without incident.
Montaque has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Assault (Second Degree)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $117,000 cash-only bail.
The 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Assault (Second Degree)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $40,000 secured bail.
Green has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Assault (Second Degree)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $122,000 cash-only bail.
