On Thursday, March 20, 2025, at approximately 10:04 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to the area of Towne Ave and Towne Park Cir. regarding a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision. Responding officers arrived on scene and located the pedestrian laying in the roadway suffering from severe injuries. First responders performed life saving measures; however, the pedestrian ultimately succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The proximate cause of this collision is unknown at this time.
