Owensville man arrested for Operator Never Licensed. 
On March 21, 2025, at 2:36 a.m. Deputy Levi Sims conducted a traffic stop on a 2013 Kia Soul for speeding on US 41 near Patoka. Upon conducting a stop on US 41 near County Road 100 North Deputy Sims identified the driver as 22 year old Johnny Gutierrez of Owensville. During the traffic stop Mr. Gutierrez was unable to produce a valid American driver’s license. After a brief investigation Deputy Sims placed Mr. Gutierrez into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operator Never Licensed.
Assisting Deputy Sims on his investigation was Princeton Officer Logan Lashbrook.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
