State & Local Open Burning Bans 
Due to several large fires currently not contained requiring a lot of resources, extremely dry conditions and expected low humidity there is currently a ban on Open Burning. Buncombe County Fire Marshal extended the local ban until Sunday and as of this morning the NC Forest Service issued a state wide open burning ban. Please Do Not burn.
