Tree Falls on School Bus in Tewksbury Township – No Life-Threatening Injuries Reported

At 7:08 AM this morning, the Tewksbury Township Police Department received a call regarding a school bus accident at Fairmont Road East and Addison Drive. A large tree had fallen onto the front half of the bus, prompting an immediate emergency response.
The bus was carrying 10 students and one driver at the time of the incident. All 11 individuals were transported to Hunterdon Medical Center for evaluation. Thankfully, there were no life-threatening injuries reported.
Upon arrival at the hospital, school personnel were present to meet with parents and assist in the reunification process, ensuring a smooth transition for families.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the first responders who assisted at the scene, including the Pottersville Fire Department, Califon Fire Department, Whitehouse Rescue Squad, and Tewksbury First Aid. Additionally, we would like to thank Hunterdon County Communications for their critical role in assisting with coordination, ensuring an efficient and organized response.
