...RED FLAG WARNING FOR WIND AND LOW HUMIDITY ACROSS THE AREA ON SATURDAY... Very dry air remains over the region today as high pressure settles over the Deep South. RH values below 20 percent are expected across most of the CWA on Saturday. Winds associated with a weak cold front will gust to 30-35mph across most of the area. Counties along the TN/NC border are not included as previous light snowfall on Thursday night reduced fire danger. The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM EDT Saturday.
