* At 1034 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Baxter Springs, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Baxter Springs, Purcell, Atlas, Webb City, Duquesne, Riverton, Brooklyn Heights, Duenweg, Carthage, Oakland Park, Joplin, Oronogo, Alba, Lowell, Carl Junction, Galena, Airport Drive, Carterville, Iron Gates, and Neck City. This includes the following highways... Interstate 44 near mile marker 0, and between mile markers 9 and 14. Interstate 49 between mile markers 38 and 44.
