Polk County Smoke In Buncombe 
Numerous residents have been seeing large drifts of smoke coming from Polk County. Unless you see a column of smoke or actual fire that is likely the source. If uncomfortable you can request it be investigated. We are still under local and state burning ban and both are in effect until further notice. It is extremely dangerous and careless to be burning outdoors. Use caution with Any outdoor heat sources and dispose of cigarette butts appropriately. Thank you to those who have refrained from burning outdoors.
