1. Resisting Arrest (2300) 1200 Block of Doray Court, Civic District
The suspect was in the area, heavily intoxicated, and threw an object at a passing Fire engine. Upon contact by officers, the suspect threatened them and resisted arrest. Force had to be used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Angel Ramos, 29, for throwing a projectile at a vehicle, resisting arrest, and drunk in public.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0248) 1200 Block of East Park Street, Park District
The male victim, 44, was inside the residence when the known suspect threatened the residents and attempted to stab the victim with a knife. Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect resisted arrest, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Eduardo Regeno-Hernandez, 18, for assault with a deadly weapon, terrorist threats, child abuse, and resisting arrest.
