March 21, 2025:
- Officer Frazier was dispatched to Greenwood Avenue and Union Street for a hit and run traffic crash. The 26-year-old male suspect was located and arrested for driving while intoxicated – 2nd offense. Charges will be sought on the male for possessing narcotics pending lab results.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near East Morrell Street and South Cooper Street. A 44-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Union Street for a disorderly subject. A 27-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Assault charges will also be sought on the female.
- Officers responded to an overdose in the 400 block of South Blackstone Street. A 41-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Allison made contact with a wanted subject in the 200 block of East Washington Avenue. A 30-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Marcum and Officer Smith were dispatched to the 100 block of North Gorham Street for a breaking and entering report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of Griswold Street for a personal welfare check. A 30-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Schram was dispatched to the 800 block of Lincoln Street for a larceny report. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner. During the investigation, officers also located a golf cart that had been reported stolen with Blackman Township.
- Officer Allison responded to the 200 block of North East Avenue for a warrant pick-up. A 44-year-old female was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Frazier and Cadet Miller assisted JFD with a structure fire in the 300 block of West Franklin Street.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Prospect Street for a domestic dispute. A 37-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault, and interfering with 911 communications.
- Officers conducted several liquor inspections downtown.
- Officer Frazier responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 38-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officer Elston was dispatched to the 1000 block of Chittock Street for a domestic dispute. A 40-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Frazier responded to the 1000 block of First Street for a warrant pick-up. A 15-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and an outstanding juvenile warrant.
- Officer Allison responded to the 500 block of Third Street for a warrant pick-up. A 13-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding juvenile warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of East Michigan Avenue for a stabbing. The 54-year-old male victim received treatment at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The 21-year-old male suspect was located and arrested for felonious assault.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of West Washington Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 50-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of North Wisner Street for subjects fighting. Charges will be sought on a 55-year-old female and a 35-year-old female for disorderly conduct and larceny.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of East Washington Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 24-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Farnsworth was dispatched to the 400 block of West Trail Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
