INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collision
LOCATION: US Highway 395 and Rancho Road, Adelanto
INVOVED PARTY(S): Driver of Chevrolet: Mawusi Z. Fiagbenu, 47-year-old Female of Adelanto (Deceased)
Passenger in Chevrolet: Adult Female
Driver of Mazda: Adult Male
SUMMARY: On March 18, 2025, around 6:45 p.m., a white Mazda CX-7 with a solo occupant, traveling north on US Highway 395, collided with a white Chevrolet Impala occupied by two people, traveling west on Rancho Road in the city of Adelanto. All three occupants were transported to hospitals. The driver of the Impala suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital on March 20, 2025.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, and investigators are asking witnesses to the collision to come forward with information.
