Traffic Collision in Rancho Cucamonga Sends a Juvenile to the Hospital



DATE/TIME: March 25, 2025 / 8:35 AM

INCIDENT: Injury Traffic Collision

LOCATION: Wardman Bullock Road / San Angleo Drive

INVOLVED PARTY:    Confidential, 16-year-old juvenile from Rancho Cucamonga

INVOLVED PARTY:    Brian Bjork, 45-year-old male from Bakersfield



SUMMARY:
On March 25, 2025, at about 8:35 AM, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles on Wardman Bullock Road at the intersection of San Angelo Drive. 

Brian Bjork drove his van south on Wardman Bullock Road. A juvenile rode an electric motorcycle illegally on public streets and traveled the wrong way against traffic. Bjork saw the motorcycle rider traveling the wrong way and swerved to avoid a collision. At the same time, the juvenile rider swerved in the same direction and collided with the van. The collision ejected the juvenile rider over the van onto the street. The juvenile had several injuries and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. 

Deputy Salinas from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department’s Traffic Division investigated the collision. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
