SUBJECT: Felony Assault Suspects Arrested
LOCATION: Cedar Street & Stambaugh Street, Redwood City
DATE/TIME: March 21, 2025, Approximately 7:01 P.M.
On March 21, 2025, at approximately 7:01 P.M., the Redwood City Police Department received a call reporting two masked subjects assaulted another subject in the intersection of Cedar Street and Stambaugh Street. The suspects were seen punching and kicking the victim. The suspects fled in a white pickup truck and witnesses were able to provide the license plate. The victim was found to have several visible injuries including broken teeth. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
A BOLO (Be On the Look Out) was issued for local law enforcement agencies. At approximately 7:10 PM the suspect vehicle was captured on a Flock camera on Crestview Drive in San Carlos. Shortly after, a San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputy spotted the vehicle and detained two suspects without incident. The suspects were identified as a 16 year old resident of Redwood City and a 17 year old resident of Redwood City. Both juveniles were subsequently arrested and later released to the San Mateo County Youth Service Center.
