1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1840) 400 Block of North Stanislaus Street, Civic District
The female victim, 22, was in the area for work when she was confronted by the known suspects, who made accusations against her and fought with her. As the victim attempted to flee, one of the suspects pointed a firearm at her. The suspects fled in a vehicle. SUSPECTS: Two Black female adults.
2. Persons Shot (2130) 1000 Block of North Pershing Avenue, Civic District
The female victims, 32 and 24, were in the area when they heard gunshots and were struck by gunfire. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
3. Weapon Arrest (2301) Hammer Lane and Tam O’Shanter Drive, Valley Oak District
Officers conducted a proactive traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. Officers searched the vehicle, located a loaded handgun, and arrested the driver without incident. ARRESTED: Myers McMiller, 29, for weapon and traffic charges.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2324) 700 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 62, was seated in her vehicle in the area when she heard gunshots, and her vehicle was struck by gunfire. The victim was uninjured and there is no suspect information.
