Hawthorne Police Traffic Bureau Advisory – DPW Water Line Replacement on Diamond Bridge Avenue
Dear Residents and Commuters,
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 7:00 AM, construction will continue on the Department of Public Works (DPW) water line replacement project along Diamond Bridge Avenue, between Lincoln Avenue and Forest Avenue.
To ensure public safety and maintain efficient traffic flow, road closures and detours will be in effect throughout the duration of the project. Police officers will be assigned to the construction zone to monitor traffic, ensure work zone safety, and assist parents and students during school arrival and dismissal times to help maintain a safe environment for all.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and avoid the area when possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our community’s essential infrastructure.
Safety remains our highest priority. We urge all drivers to remain vigilant, follow posted signage, and proceed with caution to protect workers, pedestrians, and fellow commuters.
“Progress is built on a strong foundation—thank you for helping us lay the groundwork for a better tomorrow.”
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
