Please be aware that for the next two (2) days, you will see large firefighting aircraft flying low over our area. They will be dispersing fire retardant materials as part of efforts to protect and control the wildfires. This is a routine and necessary operation by the North Carolina Forest Service to help prevent further damage. Thank you.
