Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help identifying the below-pictured suspect who stole a delivery worker’s E-Bike on Monday, March 24, 2025.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., the delivery worker parked his bike and entered Wendy’s in the 100 block of Market Street to pick up an order. The theft was captured on surveillance video, and the victim, after exiting the fast-food eatery, saw the suspect riding away eastbound on Market Street, then southbound on Beaver Street.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
