LOCATION: 17800 block of Taylor Avenue, Bloomington,
10100 block of Alder Avenue, Bloomington

SUSPECT(S): Michael Gordon, 40 years of age, resident of Bloomington

VICTIM(S): Confidential Female

SUMMARY: On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at approximately 3:28 a.m., Fontana Sheriff's Station deputies responded to a call for service of a male beating a female and dragging her inside a residence in the 17800 block of Taylor Avenue in Bloomington.

Deputy Saragih from the Fontana Sheriff's Station and members of his shift responded to the residence within minutes. Deputies observed an open door leading inside the home where an apparent scuffle had taken place outside. Deputies identified themselves and carefully entered the home under exigent circumstances.

Deputies located two subjects hiding underneath a blanket , later identified as Michael Gordon and the female victim. Gordon was holding the female victim against her will and concealing a massive head injury.  Gordon was also attempting to cover up a large amount of blood gushing from the back of her head. Deputies removed the female from Gordon's control and rendered aid.

Deputies placed Gordon in handcuffs and escorted him into the back seat of a patrol unit. Paramedics responded and transported the female victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for a severe head wound and other serious injuries.

Saragih located a witness who saw a previous assault that had taken place earlier that morning in front of a residence on the 10100 block of Alder Avenue, involving Gordon and the female victim. She was struck in the back of the head with a metal pole which resulted in a serious head injury. Gordon was able to lure the female victim to the secondary location where he assaulted her again outside and eventually drug her inside the residence until deputies arrived.

Saragih learned Gordon had forced the victim into the shower to wash away a large amount of blood and hide her clothing that was soaked in blood. Gordon was transported to West Valley Detention Center for booking and the female victim remains in the hospital recovering from serious injuries sustained during the violent assaults.
