1. Kidnapping (1700) Market Street and El Dorado Street, Civic District
The female victim, 29, obtained a ride to Stockton from the suspect who refused to let her out of the vehicle when asked. The victim was able to escape when the vehicle stopped, despite the suspect trying to pull her back into the vehicle. The suspect fled in the vehicle. SUSPECT: White male adult.
2. Robbery Arrest (1743) 4900 Block of Claremont Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 24, was working inside an area business when the suspect entered and stole property. The suspect was confronted by employees and attempted to force her way out of the business. The suspect was taken into custody, and the stolen property was recovered. ARRESTED: Melissa Padilla, 18, for robbery.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1950) 4500 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The female victim, 42, was at an area business when the suspect approached and asked the victim to move her vehicle. When the victim refused, the suspect pointed a handgun at her, assaulted her, and vandalized her vehicle. The suspect got into his vehicle and swerved towards the victim while fleeing. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2349) Church Street and Stockton Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 44, was in the listed area when he heard gunshots. The victim’s vehicle was struck, but he was uninjured. There is no suspect information.
5. Resisting Arrest (0030) 1500 Block of Saint Marks Plaza, Lakeview District
Mental Health requested assistance with placing the subject on a mental health hold. Officers responded and the subject resisted. Force was required to restrain her. The subject was taken to a local facility for further assistance.
