Strong southwesterly wind gusts are expected Friday from midday through the afternoon hours. Frequent gusts up to 35 to 45 MPH are expected, with locally higher gusts possible. These strong gusts will cause unsecured outdoor objects to be moved, as well as creating difficult driving conditions, particularly for high profile vehicles. Additionally, tree limbs may be downed, causing localized power outages. Be prepared for strong winds across central Indiana on Friday.
