Pair Charged with Breaking and Entering
Deputy Angel Hernandez charged 31-year-old Kelsey Leigh Braswell, of Marion, with felony Breaking and Entering and felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering. She was given a secured bond of $40,000.
On Sunday, March 2, Deputy Hernandez responded to a breaking-and-entering incident in the North Cove community. Upon arrival, the victim stated that he had watched a male and female subject break into his garage on his trail camera and that they were still inside.
When deputies gave commands to exit the building, Braswell walked out. A short time later, the second suspect, Christopher Blake Effler, 37, of Old Fort, was located nearby in a creek.
A bag of items the pair had stolen from the garage was also found.
Effler was charged with felony Breaking and Entering and felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering. He was given a secured bond of $40,000 as well.
