...SIGNIFICANT ICING MAY IMPACT PARTS OF CENTRAL WISCONSIN... .A west to east band of precipitation is forecast to set up across central Wisconsin Saturday with rain transitioning to freezing rain a cooler air arrives dropping pavement temperatures to freezing or colder Saturday night. Ice accumulations from a glaze to a quarter of an inch or more of ice could occur due to the freezing rain. Light accumulations of snow are also expected.
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations of one inch and ice accumulations of a glaze to a quarter of an inch or more possible.
* WHERE...Clark and Taylor Counties.
* WHEN...From Saturday evening through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Significant ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power outages. Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible.
* AFFECTED AREAS: TAYLOR ... CLARK
