Active Investigation Details 
On March 28, 2025, at approximately 2:30am, officers from the Suisun City Police Department were involved in an incident during a contact with a subject in the area of Bluejay Dr and Bella Vista Dr. As a result of the incident, an officer discharged his duty weapon, striking and injuring the subject. The subject was given medical aid on scene and transported to an area hospital. None of the involved officers required medical transport for injuries.
The Solano County District Attorney’s Office, Major Crimes Task Force will be conducting an independent investigation of this incident. This is a developing situation, and more details will be shared as they become available.
Bella Vista Drive is currently closed for access to and from Bluejay Drive. Please use an alternative route.
