* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations, especially in poor drainage and urban areas. Several roads may become impassable due to flooding in the areas that receive heaviest rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage later this afternoon. Some storms will likely be slow moving or even stationary, resulting in a prolonged period of high rainfall rates.
