17-year-old Cyrus Dyess has been located safe and unharmed 
Deputies are asking for the public's help locating reported runaway 17-year-old Cyrus Dyess.
Dyess was reported as a runaway late this morning, March 30, 2025, His family states that Cyrus left the Polk Village area in Beaufort sometime after 11 PM in a light blue Nissan Altima bearing SC registration 238AGQ. It is believed the Dyess possibly left the state to meet an online friend.
Dyess is described as 5’8” and weighing 150 lbs. He has shoulder length brown curly hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and tan pants but it is possible Dyess has changed clothes.
