* At 355 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Knob Lick, or 7 miles west of Fredericktown, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Fredericktown, Junction City, Cobalt, Womac, Mine La Motte,
Libertyville, Catherine Place and Minnith.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
