* At 540 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Zeigler, or near Christopher, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Christopher, Zeigler, Orient, Royalton, West City, Buckner, Macedonia, Benton, Hanaford, West Frankfort, Thompsonville, and North City. This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 65 and 73.
