* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northern Tippah County in northeastern Mississippi... Northern Tishomingo County in northeastern Mississippi... Alcorn County in northeastern Mississippi... Southeastern Hardeman County in west Tennessee... Southern McNairy County in west Tennessee... Hardin County in west Tennessee...

* Until 115 AM CDT.

* At 1231 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Waynesboro to near Ripley, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Chalybeate, Pickwick Dam, Eastview, Guys, Crump, Bruton Branch, Pickwick Landing State Park, Acton, Hazard Switch, Hurley, Theo, Ramer, Walkertown, Corinth, Tiplersville, Chambers, Bacon Springs, Kossuth, Hightown, and Mount Vinson.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ALCORN, MS ... TIPPAH, MS ... TISHOMINGO, MS ... HARDEMAN, TN ... HARDIN, TN ... MCNAIRY, TN

Instructions:

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for west Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for northeastern Mississippi.
