High Wind Watch until 09:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, southeast, and west central New Mexico.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Due to severe and extreme drought across much of New Mexico, widespread areas of blowing dust will develop with the gusty winds. This will increase the risk of low visibility of one half mile or less, creating dangerous travel conditions.
