1. Strong Arm Robbery (1922) 1100 Block of Houston Avenue, Seaport District
The male victim, 16, was walking in the area of the call location when several suspects approached him from behind. The suspects grabbed the victim by the neck and went through the victim’s pockets. The suspects stole the victim’s property and fled in an unknown description vehicle. SUSPECT: Three unknown race males
wearing all-black clothing and ski masks.
2. Resisting Arrest (2147) Hammer Lane and Oak Creek Drive, Lakeview District
The suspect was involved in a traffic accident and called the Dispatch Center to advise that he had firearms and that he would resist arrest. When officers arrived, the suspect refused to exit the vehicle and acted irrationally. Officers had to remove the suspect from his car physically and took him into custody. ARRESTED:
Michael Scott, 58, for driving while under the influence of alcohol and resisting arrest.
3. Person Shot (2326) 2500 Block of East Roosevelt, Park District
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near the call location and located the male victim, 42, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2352) 200 Block of North El Dorado Street, Civic District
The victims (a 28-year-old male and a 23-year-old female) were in the area when the suspect chased and threw a hatchet at the victims. Neither victim sustained injuries, and the suspect fled the area on foot. SUSPECT: Black or Hispanic male adult.
