* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 16 inches at and below pass level, with snow in excess of 18 inches possible above pass level. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM MDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates exceeding an inch per hour are most favored Tuesday morning.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BIG BELT, BRIDGER AND CASTLE MOUNTAINS
