Beginning April 1 – Trash pickup returns to twice a week . District 1 trash pickup is Monday & Thursday and District 2 is Tuesday & Friday - collection is from home-side/rear-yard. No more than 3 bags of grass and vegetative waste will be picked up CURBSIDE thru November 1.
 
STYROFOAM (EPS) COLLECTION: HHK Residents ONLY - ID required When: SATURDAY, APRIL 19, 2025 from 9am to 1pm FUTURE 2025 DATES: Styrofoam Recycling JULY 12 & OCTOBER 11 Where: HHK DPW Building located at 23 Hollywood Ave. ACCEPTABLE - clean packaging from tv's, appliances, computers, electronics, furniture NOT ACCEPTABLE - packaging peanuts, food packaging, colored polystyrene, plates, & egg cartons. ALL EPS must be free of stickers, tape, staples, labels or glue. They must be dry, clean & no ink markings.

Hazardous Waste Collection-

• Check the County’s website for a list of acceptable materials. www.bcua.org
• Sunday, April 6^th at the Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Rd. from 9am-3pm. Future events at the college will be on June 8^th and October 19^th, if you cannot make the April event.
• Saturday, May 10^th The County will be hosting the same events at the Campgaw Mountain Reservation 200 Campgaw Rd., Mahwah on July 19^th and September 6^th from 9am-3pm.

• April 13^th and August 9^th at the Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Rd., 9am-2pm.
• June 14^th and October 5th at the Campgaw Reservation, 200 Campgaw Rd. Mahwah, 9am-2pm
