Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On March 26, at approximately 11:20 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 800 block of West 8th Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 24-year-old Shamar Foster, who was taken into custody without incident. Foster was found to be in possession of 5.85 grams of crack cocaine.
Foster has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
