Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with shots fired incident:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with a shots fired incident following an investigation.
On March 26, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 2200 block of Jessup Street, in reference to a shots fired incident with no injuries. The case was assigned to Detective Thomas Rittenhouse of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation, Detective Rittenhouse identified 32-year-old Jarrod Reams as a suspect, and obtained warrants for his arrest. On March 29, members of the Uniformed Services Division took Reams into custody without incident in the area of East 24th and Carter Streets.
Reams has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Reckless Endangering (First Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
