Hawthorne Police Traffic Bureau Advisory – DPW Water Line Replacement on Diamond Bridge Avenue
Dear Residents and Commuters,
On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 7:00 AM, the Department of Public Works (DPW) will continue the water line replacement project along Diamond Bridge Avenue, between Lincoln Avenue and Royal Avenue.
To ensure public safety and maintain steady traffic flow, road closures, detour signage, cones, and barricades will remain in place for the duration of the project. Police officers will be stationed in the area to manage traffic, oversee work zone safety, and assist parents and students during school arrival and dismissal times.
Drivers are strongly encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and avoid the area when possible. Your continued cooperation is appreciated as we work to strengthen and modernize our town’s infrastructure.
Safety is always our top priority. Please remain alert, follow all “Road Closed” signs, detour instructions, and traffic control measures, and travel cautiously through the area.
“Progress may come with detours, but every cone and barricade is a sign we’re building something better.”
Thank you for your ongoing patience and support.
