Incident #2025-5675 – Theft

Date/Time: March 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM
Location: Dollar Tree, 501 Nassau Park Blvd. West Windsor, NJ

Details:  Officers responded to a reported theft at Dollar Tree, where suspects were seen loading shelving units into a white Ford F-150. The complainant confronted the individuals, who then fled the scene. The stolen items were part of a renovation project. The case remains under investigation.


Incident #2025-5878 – Shoplifting

Details:  Officers responded to a past shoplifting incident at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Store personnel reported that two female suspects were observed on surveillance video concealing merchandise, with one suspect stuffing clothing down her pants. Both suspects exited the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise.

 
Incident #2025-5997 – Shoplifting

Details:  Police responded to a shoplifting incident at Target, where two female suspects were observed concealing clothing and other items in a reusable bag. At self-checkout, one suspect scanned only four out of twenty-three items before attempting to leave the store. Loss prevention confronted them, but they fled, leaving behind some stolen merchandise.

 
Incident #2025-5950 – Criminal Mischief

Details:  Police were dispatched to Community Park for a report of damage to the sports fields. Officials discovered significant tire tracks and ruts on the lacrosse/football fields, consistent with a vehicle performing donuts. The damage may impact upcoming sporting events.


Incident #2025-5985 - Shoplifting

Location: Nassau Park Boulevard & Pavilion Way, West Windsor, NJ

Charged: Natqwan T. Cameron (Trenton, NJ)
 
Details:  Officers were dispatched to a NJ Transit bus stop near Nassau Park Boulevard and Pavilion Way for a reported shoplifting. A caller stated a male suspect had stolen from Best Buy. Officers met with the caller, who stated the suspect admitted to stealing multiple pairs of socks and Amazon Firesticks. The caller observed the suspect leaving TJ Maxx with stolen items.
 
At TJ Maxx, store employees confirmed that a theft had occurred. Officers investigated and then identified Natqwan T. Cameron of Trenton, NJ as the individual stealing eleven Amazon Firesticks. He was mailed a summons for his pending court appearance.
 

 
Incident #: 2025-6007 – Driving While Intoxicated

Location: Princeton Service Center, 3490 U.S. Route 1 West Windsor, NJ

Arrested: Raphael A. Palacios, Mount Holly, NJ

Details:  Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on U.S. Route 1 northbound. Upon arrival, officers found one of the drivers, Jocelyn McNeil, receiving medical aid. The other driver, later identified as Raphael A. Palacios, was standing by a black SUV. Initial statements from McNeil and Palacios were inconsistent, with Palacios claiming his wife was driving, but McNeil and evidence at the scene indicated he was the sole occupant.

Palacios refused to submit to field sobriety and breath tests. A search of his vehicle yielded two nearly empty bottles of tequila. Officers arrested Palacios for DWI. Further investigation revealed he had two outstanding warrants, and he was released on his own recognizance. His wife later arrived to take custody of him.


Incident #2025-6061 – Burglary

Location: Suffolk Lane, West Windsor, NJ

Details:  Patrol responded to a burglary alarm on Suffolk Lane after the homeowner observed two males enter his garage via Ring camera. The suspects attempted to enter the home but fled when the homeowner activated an interior alarm. The suspects were unable to enter the home but caused damage to the garage door. A K9 track and drone search yielded negative results. Detectives processed the scene and the case is actively being investigated.


Incident #2025-6068 – Burglary

Details:  Patrol responded to a burglary in progress after a caller reported seeing two males inside the residence via surveillance footage. Video footage showed the suspects entering through the rear door. A search of the area was conducted.  The case has been turned over to detectives for further investigation.


Incident #2025-6094 – Shoplifting

Location: Dick’s Sporting Goods, 530 Nassau Park Boulevard West Windsor, NJ

Details:  Patrol responded to a report of a shoplifting incident at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Prior to arrival, dispatch advised that a female suspect had left the store and was heading toward Panera Bread. Officers conducted a search of the surrounding area with negative results. Store management reviewed surveillance footage, which showed the suspect placing various items into a pink bag before leaving the store without paying. The investigation is ongoing.


Incident #2025-6166 – Burglary

Location: Osprey Way, West Windsor, NJ

Details:  Patrol responded to a past-tense burglary. The victims reported leaving home on March 8 and returning on March 9 to find items out of place. Stolen items included credit cards and jewelry.  No signs of forced entry were observed, but the second-floor balcony door had been left unlocked. Detectives processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.


Incident #2025-6262 – Shoplifting Arrest

Location: TJ Maxx, 210 Nassau Park Blvd. West Windsor, NJ

Arrested: Natqwan Cameron (Trenton, NJ)

Details:  Officers responded to a shoplifting report at TJ Maxx, where Loss Prevention identified the suspect as Natqwan Cameron of Trenton, NJ. Cameron was seen fleeing toward Mercer Mall, where officers located and arrested him. A black duffel bag containing stolen merchandise was recovered. Cameron was processed, issued a summons for shoplifting, and served a No Trespassing order for TJ Maxx and its partner stores. He was released on his own recognizance.


Incident #: 2025-6551 – Shoplifting
Date/Time: March 14, 2025 at 3:24 PM
Location: Lowe’s, 3504 U.S. Route 1 West Windsor, NJ

Details:  Officers responded to Lowe’s for a report of three past shoplifting incidents. Asset protection determined the same suspect shoplifted multiple items on three occasions. Surveillance footage showed that on March 9, the suspect concealed three Craftsman pocket knives and exited without payment.


Incident #2025-7422 - Theft

Location: Trader Joe’s, 3528 Route 1 West Windsor, NJ

Details:  Officers responded to Trader Joe’s for a reported wallet theft. The victim, while shopping, had her wallet stolen from her cart. Shortly after, fraudulent charges appeared on her credit cards at Quakerbridge Mall at the Apple Store and Michael Kors. The investigation is ongoing.


Incident #: 2025-7432 – Theft
Date/Time: March 24, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Location: Whole Foods, 3495 U.S. Route 1 West Windsor, NJ

Details:  A complainant reported her wallet stolen while shopping at Whole Foods. She initially believed it was at home but later determined it had been taken while she momentarily stepped away from her cart in the produce section. Fraudulent transactions were attempted at the Apple Store and Foot Locker in Quakerbridge Mall.


Incident #2025-7481 - Theft of Building Siding

Location: Windsor Woods Apartments

Details:  Officers met with a complainant reporting the theft of 20 boxes of siding (40,000 square feet) from a construction site near Windsor Woods Apartments. The case remains under investigation.


Incident #2025-7484 - Shoplifting

Location: Ulta Beauty, 540 Nassau Park Blvd. West Windsor, NJ

Details:  Officers responded to Ulta Beauty for a reported shoplifting. Surveillance footage showed two female suspects stealing various perfume products. They exited the store at 1:20 PM and fled in a Nissan Sentra. The suspects matched the description of individuals involved in an earlier shoplifting incident at Ulta in Hamilton Township. The investigation is ongoing.

Incident #: 2025-7552 – Suspicious Activity / Burglary
Date/Time: March 26, 2025 at 11:43 AM
Location: Haskel Dr. West Windsor, NJ
Reporting Officer: Ptl. Brian Caulfield #107

Details:  Patrol was dispatched to Haskel Dr. for a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, Sgt. Jany and Ptl. Caulfield met with the caller who reported seeing a window screen on the ground and later noticing an open upstairs window.  Patrol observed signs of potential forced entry, including ladder imprints in the landscaping and broken tree branches near the open window.  Upon entry, officers found obvious signs of a burglary, including ransacked bedrooms, scattered belongings, and dried mud across the floors. The detective bureau processed the scene.

 
Incident #: 2025-07600 – Driving While Intoxicated

Location: Princeton Junction Train Station / Windsor Plaza

Arrested: Rafael Mendez Andres, Princeton, NJ

Details:  Officers responded to a report of an erratic driver who struck a sign near Wawa in Princeton. The suspect vehicle, a white Chevrolet Trail Blazer, was located in the Windsor Plaza parking lot. The driver, identified as Rafael Mendez Andres, exhibited signs of intoxication. Through translation assistance, he admitted to consuming alcohol before driving.  A Plainsboro PD officer conducted field sobriety tests, leading to his arrest for DWI. The vehicle was impounded, and Mendez Andres was transported to police headquarters, where he was issued multiple summonses. His court date was scheduled in West Windsor Municipal Court.
