EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS - Due to a vehicle collision that occurred last night, the intersection signal lights at Second Street and B Street in Downtown San Rafael were severly damaged.  While crews work to expedite repairs, the intersection will be on four-way flashing red through Thursday.  Drivers using this commuter route need to plan ahead and allow extra time for expected traffic delays. It is recommended to use alternate routes if they exist along the traveling route.

Drivers are required to treat red flashinig traffic signal lights as stop signs, come to a complete stop, yield to pedestrians, check for cross traffic, and then only proceed when it is safe to do so.
