Flood Warning until 11:00AM Tuesday

...The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids MI has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Michigan... Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River at Bridgeton affecting Newaygo County. .Another round of rain currently falling across the Muskegon River basin will put another 1.0 to 1.5 inches of rain into the watershed. This will likely push portions of the river near Newaygo and Bridgeton slightly above minor flood stage in the coming days.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Muskegon River at Bridgeton.

* WHEN...From Friday morning to late Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water overflows the banks into wooded areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday morning to a crest of 13.4 feet early Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.4 feet on 04/19/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
