Flood Warning until 08:24AM Tuesday

...The National Weather Service in Little Rock AR has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Arkansas... White River At Calico Rock affecting Stone and Izard Counties. White River At Batesville affecting Independence County. For the Upper White River...including Calico Rock, Batesville... Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Calico Rock.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Major flooding begins, most of lower lying portions of White River Valley from Norfork to Batesville flooding. Campgrounds and communities along the river will be flooded or isolated by flooded roads. Homes along the river in Stone and Izard counties may be flooded. River is swift and may contain a large amount of debris. Private and commercial boat docks should be monitored and well anchored to the bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 3.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday afternoon to a crest of 30.0 feet Sunday morning. This crest is based off of forecasted rainfall for the next three days. Continue to monitor latest forecasts for updates. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
