Flood Warning until 08:12PM Sunday

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Tennessee... North Fork Obion River near Martin For the Obion River...including Martin...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...North Fork Obion River near Martin.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning to Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Widespread flooding is occurring in Rives and near Union City. Additional evacuations will be necessary. Agricultural land north of Martin is flooding and equipment and livestock may need to be moved to higher ground. Numerous secondary roads are covered by flood water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 5.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 22.0 feet early Saturday morning. Pay close attention to subsequent forecasts as multiple days of rain will impact the crest and duration of the flooding. The river will likely remain elevated through at least the weekend. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
