The City of Hoboken’s Little League baseball and Hoboken Nike RBI softball will be participating in Little League’s Opening Day Parade and Ceremony this Saturday, April 5! All Hoboken community members are invited to attend.
The parade will begin at the corner of 10th and Washington Streets at 10 a.m. Baseball and softball players will march down Washington Street, turning left onto Fifth Street, and ending at Sergeant William Fesken Memorial Field at Stevens Park.
There will be rolling street closures during the parade. NJ Transit buses will be diverted to Bloomfield Street and Hudson Street.
Following the ceremony, Hoboken Little League will commemorate its 75th anniversary with a vintage baseball game at 12 p.m., as coaches take the field for a spirited,1860s-style baseball game.
