MERIDIAN, ID – Today, April 2nd, 2025, at approximately 11:40AM a.m., officers with the Meridian Police Department arrested two individuals, Jacob SELACI, a 34-year-old male out of Boise, and Brittany JOHNSON, a 30-year-old female also from Boise, during a suspicious vehicle stop.

Officers initially contacted SELACI and JOHNSON after locating a vehicle belonging to SELACI, who is currently on parole for three counts of possession of a controlled substance. JOHNSON is also on felony probation for possession of a controlled substance out of Twin Falls. After notifying Idaho Probation and Parole, officers were requested to conduct a search of the vehicle.

As officers attempted to detain SELACI and JOHNSON, both individuals became uncooperative, exiting the vehicle and attempting to walk away. Officers grabbed SELACI, who continued to resist by attempting to pull away. During the incident, SELACI attempted to dispose of drugs as he exited the car. SELACI then directed JOHNSON to retrieve the drugs as he was being arrested. SELACI was eventually forced to the ground and taken into custody. JOHNSON was also forced to the ground and arrested.

SELACI was booked into the Ada County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, an agent’s warrant, possession of paraphernalia, and resisting and obstructing officers. JOHNSON was booked for possession of paraphernalia.

The Meridian Police Department remains committed to holding offenders accountable and working in partnership with the community to ensure public safety.
